FANTASY FOOTBALL ROOKIES TO TARGET IN 2019

NUMBER 5 – DARRELL HENDERSON, RUNNING BACK (RAMS)

The Rams might be starting to look ahead to life after Todd Gurley and they were wise to add Darrell Henderson out of Memphis to their team. Henderson was a monster during his time with the Tigers and rushed for over 1,900 yards with a ridiculous 22 touchdowns last year. Those stats aren’t typos, folks.

While that production won’t translate to the NFL because it’s much tougher than the level of play in the American conference in the NCAA, Henderson is still going to get many chances to prove he can be the future Rams running back.

The situation with Gurley in the Super Bowl certainly raised some eyebrows and if you’re able to land Gurley in your draft, handcuffing him with Henderson is a good strategy. Either way, the former Memphis back should become one of the more well-known rookies in 2019.

Taking Henderson in one of the earlier rounds isn’t a crazy idea whatsoever, especially if you were able to land Gurley and aren’t confident he’ll remain healthy for your team in 2019.
