FANTASY FOOTBALL ROOKIES TO TARGET IN 2019

NUMBER 6 – DAMIEN HARRIS, RUNNING BACK (PATRIOTS)

Now we get into the group of rookie running backs who are worthy of drafting this year. Kicking off that list is Patriots running back Damien Harris, who topped 1,000 yards as a sophomore and a junior, but not as a senior.

Harris split time with Josh Jacobs this past year and still amassed 876 yards to go along with nine touchdowns. So it’s not like he had a step-down by any means for the Crimson Tide.

The Patriots struck gold with last year’s rookie Sony Michel and now they’ll look to pair with him Harris. Two young running backs for a team that loves to run the ball down its opponents throats is going to be tough for the opposition to stop.

Due to the other running backs on New England’s depth chart, Harris isn’t a grand slam to get you points in 2019. He is, however, worth spending a mid to late round pick on.
