Josh Norman (Washington Redskins), Cornerback

The man who jumped over a bull and made it out clean; Josh Norman may come with a lot of baggage, but could also be a player that will help out Kansas City’s secondary tremendously.

Now entering his eighth season in the NFL (Carolina 2012-2015, Washington 2016-Present) Josh Norman is hitting the back end of his career. Known for his aggressive nature and attitude on the field, Norman could bring in veteran presence and experience to a growing defense.

Playing in over 90 games throughout his professional career, Norman has acquired numbers in every defensive category. With room for upgrades in KC, he could easily be plugged into the starting line up and help this team move towards its ultimate goal.

Washington is a team that has been building and putting the pieces together the past couple years. Having a young nucleus to start this season on defense it may make sense for them to off load a heavy contract to bring in youth and allow them to play guys who need more minutes. While Norman may bring a heavy price tag, it is an aggressive move that Veach would go after.

A trade for Josh Norman may look like this:

Washington Receive:

  • Mid to Early Draft Pick (2020 or 2021)
  • Comp Pick (2020) or Position Player

Chiefs Receive:

  • Josh Norman
