Josh Jackson (Green Bay Packers), Cornerback

A player on my 2018 NFL draft radar, Josh Jackson is a physical playmaker that would fit right in with the Chiefs and make an immediate impact. Josh Jackson is a second year player selected by the Green Bay Packers in the second round (45th overall) in the NFL Draft last year.

Having one season under his belt, Jackson will be acclimated to the speed and physicality needed to play in this league and will continue to grow from that. Playing in all 16 games and starting in ten of them, Jackson recorded over 40 tackles and ten pass deflections. He also came up with once special teams touchdown off of a blocked punt.

Being a young and talented player, the Packers may not be as willing to just hand him over. The Chiefs are going to have to come in with an enticing offer.

With the heavy turnover in Green Bay at the wide receiver position, the Chiefs have an abundance of pass catchers that they could swap out for Jackson. Also with Packers having depth at cornerback with guys like Kevin King, Jaire Alexander, and Tramon Williams; a position swap would be almost ideal and fair for both teams.

A potential trade that KC may be willing to give could look something like this:

Green Bay Receives:

Kansas City Receives:

  • Josh Jackson
  • Potential late pick swap (2021)
