NUMBER 7 – RILEY NEAL/DEUCE WALLACE (VANDERBILT)

Mizzou at Vanderbilt – October 19th

Vanderbilt also hasn’t quite made its mind up as to who will be fielding the snaps for the Commodores come week one. For now, it’ll be begin transfer Riley Neal and Deuce Wallace for the starting job.

Neal spent 2015-2018 with Ball State, throwing for nearly 7,400 yards during his time there. He was injured in the 2017 season and will look to become more efficient against Power-5 competition, which is something he didn’t have a ton of opportunities to do in the MAC.

As for Wallace, he spent time with LSU and will look to compete for that spot with Neal. He’s bounced back and forth between playing quarterback and defensive back and has only thrown 22 passes during his time as a quarterback.

While Neal should win this job, we really don’t have much to go off of with Wallace. Maybe he comes out and wows everyone in the early season games and ends up winning the job.

NUMBER 6 – TERRY WILSON

Mizzou at Kentucky – October 26th

Terry Wilson is definitely a threat running with the football, but if he could tweak his passing skills a little bit more, he could be further up on this list. Last year, he threw for 1,889 yards, 11 touchdowns and eight picks. On the ground, he was able to rush for 547 yards and four touchdowns.

Kentucky narrowly escaped Columbia with a victory last year and Wilson definitely helped the Wildcats get that W. He threw for 267 yards, one touchdown, and one pick in the match-up last year.
