FANTASY FOOTBALL QUARTERBACKS TO TARGET IN 2019

NUMBER 8 – BAKER MAYFIELD

People will probably draft Baker Mayfield way too high during his second season in the pros, but beware of that. Yes, Mayfield had a sensational rookie year and made the Browns relevant for the first time in forever, but the sophomore slump is a real thing and it very well could hit Mayfield in 2019.

Last season saw the former Heisman Trophy winner total 3,725 yards, 27 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. Mayfield didn’t run as much as he did in college, but he has the ability to if need be.

Mayfield has great weapons at his disposal in Cleveland this year, which is why so many people are hyping the Browns during his second season. While the Browns do have what appears to be an improved offense, sometimes a lot of strong personalities can really derail a team and that could definitely happen with the Browns.

Baker Mayfield is a talented quarterback and should take a step forward in 2019, but the chance for him to regress big time is a possibility and that’s why he’s not as high as some might have had him on this list.
