FANTASY FOOTBALL QUARTERBACKS TO TARGET IN 2019

NUMBER 1 – PATRICK MAHOMES

Patrick Mahomes is obviously the best quarterback in fantasy football this year and not just amongst Kansas City Chiefs fans. He’s coming off an MVP season in which he threw for over 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns.

Mahomes really didn’t have a bad game last year and his ability to sling the football down the field mixed in with his rushing abilities makes him a great option as QB1 in fantasy leagues.

This is a Kansas City blog, but Mahomes would likely be number one on most other peoples’ lists too. He was pretty darn good in 2018 and nearly got the Chiefs to their first Super Bowl in 50 years.

If you play in a league with a lot of Chiefs fans, you’ll want to draft Mahomes potentially as early as the first round, but otherwise, he’s probably worthy of taking in the second or third round.

Regardless, Patrick Mahomes is the number one fantasy football quarterback for the 2019 season.
