Utah cornerback Jaylon Johnson is someone who could be a boundary corner for the KC Chiefs.

Perhaps playing for the unknown at Utah, Jaylon Johnson is an intriguing idea for the Chiefs as a player that may be available for the Chiefs.

An appealing blend of size and athleticism, Johnson is a player that has already been linked to the Chiefs in the draft process. In a conference with a variety of offenses and talent at wide receiver, Johnson could be tested on a weekly basis in the PAC-12.

Johnson appears at times to lack the elite, smooth athleticism of the corners that generally go at the top of the draft ,however, he has a willingness to tackle and make breaks and play the football. With the potential of second round pick Juan Thornhill and Tyrann Mathieu at the two safety spots, the opportunity for Johnson to make plays and be a part of the defense certainly exists.

The Utah product would certainly be a nice addition to the defense alongside Charvarius Ward and with Thornhill and Mathieu. The defender may not play for the biggest school, but he certainly is a name to keep front of mind when evaluating the cornerbacks during the upcoming season and through the draft process.
