RASHAD FENTON, CB (R6:P201)

Rashad Fenton was the fourth pick for the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2019 NFL Draft. With picks dwindling down for the Chiefs in the draft, it was only a matter of time before they picked up a corner to find more depth and competition in the secondary.

Fenton was a four-year senior out of the University of South Carolina. After only playing in six games his freshman year, he went on to play in all games during his college career from sophomore season to his senior year. During that time Fenton put up numbers such as: 122 Total Tackles (95 Solo, 27 Assist), 5 Tackles for Loss, 5 Int, 19 Pass Deflections, and 1 forced fumble.

Projected Numbers:

  • Tackles: 24
    • Solo: 15
    • Assist: 9
  • Tackle for Loss: 1
  • Int: 1
  • Pass Deflection: 1
  • Forced Fumble: 1

Standing as a little more of an undersized corner, Fenton is going to need to prove his worth for the Chiefs. He may project out as a solid special teams player for the Chiefs until he gets years under him, but with lack of depth in the position he may find his way onto the field more often.
