FANTASY FOOTBALL TIGHT ENDS TO TARGET IN 2019

NUMBER 8 – DELANIE WALKER

It was disappointing when Delanie Walker went down with an injury early last season because he’s always been one of the better tight ends in the league. Walker started just one game last year before he was injured, finishing his 2018 season with just four receptions for 52 yards.

In other words, those who drafted Walker were left scrambling to find a TE1 and probably didn’t have much luck (I know I didn’t!). It was an unfortunate situation to be put in and fantasy owners might be skeptical of taking Walker again in 2019.

Even with the injury sidelining him for nearly all of last year, the former Central Missouri Mule is still absolutely worth drafting in the middle rounds this summer. He will be 35 years old by the time the season starts, but the Titans don’t have weapons who can make plays quite like Walker can.

While Walker might not be putting up the numbers he did a few years ago, he’s still a decent TE1 and is one of the more reliable tight ends in the league, and in fantasy football.
