FANTASY FOOTBALL TIGHT ENDS TO TARGET IN 2019

NUMBER 9 – ERIC EBRON

We mentioned one Colts tight end a bit ago and now here’s the other one: Eric Ebron!

Having two tight ends from one team on here might be a bit odd, but Doyle and Ebron are both worthy of having as TE1 options. Think back to the Patriots’ situation in the early 2010s. That’s what the Colts are looking to do in 2019 and should be able to accomplish considering the talents they have at tight end.

While Doyle is likely the starting option, Ebron was ON FIRE last year. He came out of nowhere too, looking like a bust in Detroit and proving that sometimes a change of scenery really can do wonders for a guy in the NFL.

I have Ebron ranked higher than Doyle on here due to his outrageous numbers last year. He had 66 receptions for 750 yards and a whopping 13 (!!!!) touchdowns. The touchdown total is incredible, but it’ll be tough for him to replicate those numbers again, especially with Doyle healthy and back in the fold.

Eric Ebron is going to be drafted pretty high due to the high production last year, but don’t be surprised if he has a big time regression in 2019. If he’s still available in the seventh or eighth round, nab him.
