FANTASY FOOTBALL TIGHT ENDS TO TARGET IN 2019

NUMBER 13 – AUSTIN HOOPER

Austin Hooper tends to be the “forgotten one” when it comes to NFL tight ends and when looking at his stats, it’s not hard to see why that’s the case. Last year, the Falcons tight end had 71 receptions for 660 yards, but only found the end zone four times.

The big issue with Hooper is that due to all of the other weapons Matt Ryan has at his disposal in Atlanta, it’s tough to get targets. Hooper didn’t have a single game in which he went for over 100 yards last year. He also didn’t have any multi-score games.

Hooper should be available in the later rounds and could blossom into a great tight end, but don’t draft him expecting him to be a star. He’s one of those guys that we really don’t know what to expect out of him in 2019 and that’s why he’s 13th on here.
