Good tight ends are hard to find in fantasy football because of what the position entails. Sure, at times they’re getting fed the ball consistently, but other times, they’re used more for blocking.

Outside of Kelce, Ertz, and Kittle (and he could be a disappoint this year), the other tight ends aren’t necessarily sure things as TE1. Yes, Jared Cook is a great tight end, but with all of the other weapons in New Orleans, is he going to be the threat he was in Oakland?

Other names ranked high on here like Engram or Henry are names to be weary of due to an injury history. They could be great options, but might miss time here and there.

Some of the low-key names on this list to watch would be Jack Doyle, Austin Hooper, and Greg Olsen. Doyle is going to be forgotten about because of Ebron’s crazy good 2018 season, Hooper isn’t a sexy name at the position but has a reliable quarterback, and Olsen will be a low-risk/high-reward name due to his age and recent injuries. The same could be said for Delanie Walker as well.
