FANTASY FOOTBALL TIGHT ENDS TO TARGET IN 2019

NUMBER 1 – TRAVIS KELCE

Kansas City Chiefs fans have always thought Travis Kelce was the best tight end in the league and now with Rob Gronkowski retired and out of the picture, there’s really not much debate anymore. Kelce is the man!

Kelce was putting up dominant numbers even when he had Alex Smith as his quarterback, so you could only imagine how much of a positive spike those totals would go when Patrick Mahomes took over last year. That proved to be true.

Kelce ended the 2018 season with 103 receptions for 1,336 yards and ten touchdowns. While Ertz edged him out on receptions, Kittle edged him out for yards, and Ebron had more touchdowns, Kelce is still THE tight end in the NFL, and in fantasy football because he does everything, man.

When looking at Kelce’s game log from 2018, he had five games where he went for over 100 yards and three games where he found the end zone multiple times. In short, Kelce is a beast and Mahomes is constantly looking to feed him the ball.

It’s not the sexiest thing to take a tight end in the first round (or even the second round), but Travis Kelce is absolutely worth taking that high. If you play in a league with a lot of Chiefs fans, the other owners are going to be thinking the same thing, so jump on him quickly if you want him on your team!
