FANTASY FOOTBALL TIGHT ENDS TO TARGET IN 2019

NUMBER 3 – GEORGE KITTLE

No tight end surprised more last year than George Kittle of the 49ers, especially when you consider that he was without Jimmy Garoppolo for the majority of the season. With Kittle’s record-breaking season in 2019 and the fact that Garoppolo is back under center, he’s a top three tight end to have in fantasy football this year.

Last year saw Kittle finish the regular season with 88 receptions for 1,377 yards and five touchdowns. Yes, the touchdown total could have been higher, but are you kidding me? He had 1,377 yards, which gave him the most receiving yards by a tight end in 2019. Insane for a guy with backups and thirds strings throwing to him.

Kittle will be anything but under the radar this year and is someone owners will want to consider drafting in the early rounds. He might regress in 2019, but it’s tough for him to really do better this year unless he gets into the end zone way more.

Kittle was able to do all of that damage in 2018 with multiple quarterbacks throwing to him and that shows how talented he is. He’ll have his starting quarterback healthy and back under center in 2019, but even if Jimmy G goes down, Kittle’s stock shouldn’t drop much.
