FANTASY FOOTBALL TIGHT ENDS TO TARGET IN 2019

NUMBER 6 – O.J. HOWARD

O.J. Howard is heading into year three of his pro career and he might be one of the more hyped tight ends entering 2019.

Last year saw the Alabama product total 34 receptions for 565 yards and five touchdowns. He had six touchdowns as a rookie in 2017, but had 130 less yards, so his second season was definitely better on paper.

While the Buccaneers had a bit of a quarterback carousel last year, that should be over now. Ryan Fitzpatrick is in Miami and Jameis Winston will hopefully flourish under new head coach Bruce Arians, who has a reputation of being a quarterback whisperer.

Assuming Winston does have a better year, Howard should benefit greatly, as he’s one of the best playmakers on the team. While he might be a bit inconsistent, he’s one of the better weapons in Tampa Bay and should be one of Winston’s first options to throw to.

Target Howard in the sixth or seventh round or once there’s been a significant run on tight ends.
