FANTASY FOOTBALL TIGHT ENDS TO TARGET IN 2019

NUMBER 7 – JARED COOK

At age 32, Jared Cook has only gotten better, and that’s saying something in a sport like the NFL where age tends to catch up to you after awhile. Cook had his best year in 2018 hauling in 68 receptions for 896 yards and six touchdowns.

Cook managed to do all of that in Oakland with a streaky offense like the Raiders. Just imagine how much better his numbers will be in 2019 with the Saints, who have Drew Brees as their quarterback.

Brees loves spreading the football around, but he also loves his tight ends. So yes, while Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara are going to get a lot of targets, Cook is going to see his fair share of targets as well.

Cook very well could end the year as a top three tight end in the league, but due to his age and having other weapons to compete with, he’s seventh on this list.
