FANTASY FOOTBALL DEFENSES/SPECIAL TEAMS TO TARGET

Number 13 – Cleveland Browns

2018 Fantasy Points Ranking: Tied-17th

2018 Points Allowed Ranking: 21st

The Browns finished 17th in fantasy points last year, but are still for the most part very young, so with another year of experience, that ranking should only improve.

Myles Garrett finished last season in the top six in sacks with 13.5 in only his second year in the league. He now has a new partner in crime Olivier Vernon who had seven sacks himself last season with the Giants.

Behind what should be a great pass rush, the Browns have a secondary that features Denzel Ward. Ward showed great promise last year as a pro bowler. In addition, they could have grabbed one of the steals of the draft with Greedy Williams in the second round at pick 46 overall. Williams was ranked by a lot of analysts as the best corner in the draft and rarely made it out of the first round in mock drafts.

The Browns are a very young defense, but they are talented enough that it should be of no surprise to see them make the leap into the top 15 this year if not even higher. So, 13th should be a pretty safe spot for them.
