BEATING TOM BRADY

Patrick Mahomes is 0-2 against the “G.O.A.T” and three-time MVP himself, Mr. Tom Brady. Having played games at both Arrowhead and Gillette Stadium last year, Mahomes couldn’t quite get the job done against his counterpart.

Getting win number one against Brady is a big step in the right direction when it comes to repeating as Most Valuable Player. It’s a small sample size, yes, but showing he can win against the best is a MUST to prove himself worthy of a repeat.

To compare, here were both players’ stats from their two match-ups.

  • Mahomes: 39 Comp. 67 Att. (53.73%), 647 Yds, 7 TD, 2 Int, 1 Fm
  • Brady: 54 Comp. 81 Att. (66.67%), 688 Yds, 2 TD, 2 Int

Although numbers versus one another seem to balance out going down the list between each other, Brady has Mahomes in one category that trumps all, WINS. Mahomes needs to rise to the occasion this year and show that he can dethrone and take the torch from TB12.
