The team returns its star duo of Von Miller and Bradley Chubb. Miller, in his eighth season and already the Broncos all-time sacks leader, led the team with 14.5 sacks, giving him 98 total in his career. He added 14 tackles for loss, which tied for the team lead with Chubb, while hitting the quarterback 26 times. He turned 30 in March, so maybe, just maybe, he’ll start slowing down.

But Chubb is just now entering his second season in the league. In his rookie year, the former fifth overall draft pick out of North Carolina State collected 12 sacks while forcing two fumbles, making 14 tackles for loss and hitting the quarterback 21 times. Overall, he collected 12 more combined tackles than did Miller, 60 to 48.

Defensive linemen Derek Wolfe and Adam Gotsis also return. Those two combined for 4.5 sacks, seven tackles for loss and 13 quarterback hits in 2018.

With the return of Miller and Chubb and, to a lesser extent, Wolfe and Gotsis, plus the additions of Jones, who had 8.5 sacks for the Buckeyes in 2018, and Hollins, who collected 6.5 for the Ducks, the Broncos remain a dangerous pass rushing team.

To boot, this is the only team on this list that the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes have to face twice in 2019. Like last season, that first meeting comes on the road with the teams clashing in Denver on October 17th, a Thursday night game. The rematch takes place in Week 15 on December 15th in Arrowhead.

In both contests, Mahomes must keep his head on a swivel, because this attack will keep it up all four quarters.
