In looking at the tougher quarterback competition on the schedule, Chiefs Kingdom also has the confidence that opposing teams have Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs to prepare for on their schedule.

While Kansas City prepares to play an up-and-comer in Jackson all the way up to the greatest of this generation in Brady, those teams will also be preparing for the quarterback who has taken the league (and the entire sports world) by storm in Mahomes.

The more exciting part of the upcoming season will be seeing how well an improved defense can contain the quarterbacks listed above.

With guys like Chris Jones and Frank Clark putting on the pressure, it’ll be great to see if a young secondary can take advantage of some of the league’s better quarterbacks. The key to getting to and winning a Super Bowl will be to limit what these quarterbacks can do.

The hope is that by the midway point in the season, that the new Chiefs defense will have used guys like Jackson and Luck to be ready for Rodgers and Brady. If they can keep these guys off the field and Mahomes on the field, there’s no question what this team will do – celebrate a big win in February of 2020.
