BEST AWAY GAMES IN 2019

NUMBER TWO – CHIEFS AT BEARS (12/22)

Another late season/cold weather game is one Chiefs fans should consider circling on the ol’ calendar and making travel plans for. It’s only every eight years that the Chiefs get to play at Soldier Field in Chicago and 2019 is one of them.

I considered putting this game at number one, but ultimately December in Chicago, especially for a Sunday Night Football game, is going to be pretty darn cold. The primetime element makes this a top option to attend this year, but that’s only if you’re a fan of sitting in brutally cold conditions.

There’s also not a ton at stake when it comes to the Chiefs vs Bears. It’s an AFC vs NFC match-up, which makes it more rare, but also means there’s less importance put on this game. The Bears do, however, have former KC offensive coordinator Matt Nagy as their head coach, which adds an intriguing aspect to the game for Chiefs fans.

Chicago is a cool city to visit and the Chiefs getting to play there for the first time in eight years makes this a game to consider attending.
