BEST AWAY GAMES IN 2019

NUMBER THREE – CHIEFS AT PATRIOTS (12/8)

In a rematch of the AFC Championship Game, the Patriots host the Chiefs near the end of the 2019 season. The AFC Championship took place at Arrowhead, which was the first time the Chiefs had hosted the Patriots since the 2014 season.

While some might consider this the BEST away game to attend in 2019, I factored in the weather, the fans, and the fact that there are better ones fans could travel to. December in Boston will be brutally cold and we all know the stereotype when it comes to Boston sports fans.

What’s working for this game is obviously the competitiveness. Both games between these two teams last year went down to the wire, with the Patriots unfortunately winning both battles. The year prior, however, KC spoiled the Pats’ season opener in hilarious/blowout fashion.

If the second option occurs again in 2019, then that’d make this game an absolute gem to attend. Hopefully that’s what ends up happening, especially if Chiefs Kingdom packs Gillette Stadium.
