BEST HOME GAMES IN 2019

NUMBER ONE – CHIEFS VS CHARGERS (12/29)

Disclaimer here: It’s very possible that this game ends up not being as big of a deal, as the division could be locked up by this point, meaning starters are sitting and backups are playing. If that ends up being the case, hopefully it’s the Chiefs who have the AFC West clinched, but either way, this game becomes a lot less appealing to attend.

If, however, this is similar to last year where the Chiefs and Chargers are battling for supremacy in the AFC West, then fans could be in for a treat when the Bolts roll into town for the final game of the season. It could be for all of the marbles in the division, and perhaps for all of the marbles in the AFC playoff standings.

Last year the Chiefs hosted the Chargers on Thursday Night Football near the end of the season, and despite looking like they’d win it, LA marched back in the fourth quarter and won the game on a two-point conversion. It was the first time the Bolts had beaten the Chiefs since 2013.

Even though Kansas City wound up winning the AFC West, you better believe they can’t wait to get their revenge on the Chargers in 2019.

Assuming things come down to the wire in the division like they did last season, this is the game to attend, Chiefs fans.
