The KC Chiefs have Super Bowl aspirations in 2019 and in order to get to that pinnacle, some of their rookies will have to have a major impact on the season.

It’s tough to know just what kind of production rookies will provide for their team, but the Kansas City Chiefs need their rookies to bring their A-game in 2019. Who are five rookies who can heavily contribute to the team this year?

ROOKIES WHO CAN CONTRIBUTE IN 2019

HONORABLE MENTION (HOPEFULLY?) – JOHN LOVETT

This one might seem odd to some people, but I’m including John Lovett on here anyway, as an honorable mention.

Lovett is listed on the Chiefs roster as a quarterback, but he was listed as an athlete coming out of Princeton. He spent time playing all sorts of positions for Princeton during his time there and we all know Andy Reid loves those type of guys on his team.

A lot of people have been speculating about what Lovett’s role could be for 2019 and he’s been linked to the tight end position. This would make sense, as the Chiefs don’t have a whole lot of depth behind Travis Kelce.

While Lovett might not be a huge name as a rookie, he should see the field in 2019 and hopefully will make some nice plays in whatever role he ends up in.
