Don’t fret, there’s hope, it’s just not anywhere close to Kansas City

Perhaps the only player on this roster that is truly part of the future is Adalberto Mondesi, the young shortstop. He will be in Kansas City for awhile and definitely has the potential to be a contributor for a long time to come.

The pitching, despite being a long way off will hopefully be able to provide a couple starters and perhaps a bullpen arm or two, and there are some hitters you can hone in on their swings and find a way to move up the system.

While many of the players on the current major league roster will have moved on from the organization by the time the future arrives, there is at least some hope there is a future to look forward to.
