The KC Royals have officially played two months of baseball in 2019. Three Royals have surprised fans with their stellar play through the first two months of the season.

When the 2019 season began, most Kansas City Royals fans hoped that the team could build on their 2018 campaign. 2018 started off rough, but the team showed promise in the second half of the season.

Well, so far, things have been rough for the boys in blue. They’re 18 games out of first place in the American League Central and the hope of making the postseason as a second Wild Card is pretty much laughable at this point.

Even with the poor results on the field, there have been three Royals who have stood out so far in the young season. These were three guys who many of us had written off coming into this year, but they’ve all shown they have a lot left in the tank and can provide the team with something in 2019.

So, which Royals have surprised fans the most (in a positive way) in 2019? Let’s take a look.
