AFC WEST ROOKIES TO WATCH OUT FOR – NUMBER ONE: JOSHUA JACOBS

I haven’t listed any members of the Oakland Raiders yet, but the AFC West rookie to fear the most for KC Chiefs fans this year is Joshua Jacobs. The Raiders had three first round selections this year and grabbed Jacobs with the 24th overall pick out of Alabama.

Jacobs had 120 carries last year for 640 yards and an astounding 11 touchdowns. He also hauled in 20 receptions for 247 yards and three receiving scores. Oh goody… A running back who can catch. The Chiefs DID NOT handle those well at all last year.

Forget the fact that the Chiefs were downright laughable against the run last year. Forget the fact that they were basically downright laughable on defense all together last year. The scariest thing about Jacobs is that he can kill defenses on the ground and through the air. That’s terrifying for Chiefs fans.

The Raiders made a good move in drafting Jacobs and this is definitely a guy who can cause nightmares against the Chiefs. Let’s hope he’s ineffective against them.
