AFC WEST ROOKIES TO WATCH OUT FOR – NUMBER THREE: JERRY TILLERY

The third AFC West rookie on this list is also with the Chargers and it’s Jerry Tillery out of Notre Dame. Tillery was LA’s first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and it’s not hard to see why.

The Fighting Irish defensive lineman notched eight sacks last year and had nine and a half tackles for loss. He’s a nuisance for opposing offenses and the Chargers just keep adding talent on defense. Must be nice to have one of the best units in the league.

The Chargers are one of the more complete teams in the NFL and their ability to add terrific defensive players to an already terrific defense is intimidating for sure. Tillery brings in a whole other level of lethal on that Bolts defensive line and the Chiefs offensive line will have to bring their A-game both times they play the Chargers in 2019.

Otherwise, Tillery could be an absolute wrecking ball.
