NUMBER TWO – FRANK CLARK

One Chief who needs to have a phenomenal season in 2019 is one of the newest members of the team – Frank Clark.

Clark was acquired via the Seahawks in exchange for a first round pick in this year’s draft. That meant that for the second straight year, the Chiefs did not have a first round selection in the NFL Draft.

While that was a bit of a bummer, Clark replaces the production that Dee Ford left when he was traded to San Francisco. Clark’s arguably a better player than what Ford was too, racking up 13 sacks last year.

The Chiefs moved on from both Ford and Justin Houston, so the expectation is for Frank Clark to replicate what both of those guys were doing in Kansas City. He’s getting paid to be a primetime pass rusher, so Clark definitely has to come out swinging in 2019 and show that he was worth not only trading a first round pick for, but for all of that dough he’ll be earning.
