With the first three rounds in the books, the Kansas City Chiefs have filled a few holes, but still have work to do. The Chiefs have a few more picks on day three, so what players could they target?

The Kansas City Chiefs didn’t have a first round pick due to the Frank Clark deal, but did have three picks on day two of the draft. In the second round the Chiefs traded up in to draft Mecole Hardman with the 56th overall pick, sending the 61st and 167th pick to the Rams. Mecole Hardman is a speedy receiver that will fill a hole at the wide receiver position.

With the 63rd pick the Chiefs took Juan Thornhill to fill another need at the safety position. Juan Thornhill will be an excellent addition to the Chiefs’ safety rotation and could end up starting next to Tyrann Mathieu.

With their last pick on day two, the Chiefs took Khalen Saunders 84th overall. Saunders is a freakishly athletic 320 pound defensive tackle out of Western Illinois. This wasn’t a huge positional need for the Chiefs, but they must have taken the best available player on their draft board and it could end up being a good one.

This leaves the Chiefs with remaining needs at cornerback, linebacker, tight end, running back, and probably some offensive line depth as well. The problem is, that is five positions and the Chiefs only have three picks left. They have two picks left in round six (201 and 214) and one in round seven (216).

So who are some players the Chiefs could target to help fill these needs?
