POSITIONS TO ADDRESS ON DAY 3 – OFFENSIVE LINE

I know, I know, this is a boring one, but offensive line is important, especially when you have a franchise quarterback you’re trying to protect for a long time. That’s why the Chiefs need to consider drafting an o-lineman in one of the later rounds.

As of now, the Chiefs offensive line looks like Eric Fisher at left tackle, Cameron Erving at left guard, Austin Reuter at center, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif at right guard, and Mitchell Schwartz at right tackle. Fisher, LDT, and Schwartz are likely sticking at their positions for awhile, but Erving and Reuter are no guarantees to stay put at theirs.

Left guard is definitely one the Chiefs should look to address moving forward and if they want to add a guard late in the process, Phil Haynes of Wake Forest, Brandon Knight of Indiana, or Derwin Grey of Maryland could be options.

If the Chiefs opt to go with the tackle route (you know, as backup options to Fisher and the Schwartz-enator), Dennis Daley of South Carolina, Paul Adams of Missouri, or Andre James of UCLA could be worth a look.
