POSITIONS TO ADDRESS ON DAY 3 – LINEBACKER

Stacking up on defense is crucial, considering how bad this unit was in 2018, so the Chiefs should definitely look into taking a linebacker with one of their final three picks. They added Khalen Saunders, a defensive tackle, in round three and now their defensive line looks pretty sturdy. Let’s keep that up and add some linebackers!

Some options at inside linebacker for the later rounds could be Dakota Allen of Texas Tech, Deshaun Davis of Auburn, and Blake Cashman of Minnesota. Outside linebacker options include Malik Carney of North Carolina, Vosean Joseph of Florida, and Dre Greenland of Arkansas.

Defense was the Chiefs’ achilles heel in 2018 and ultimately cost them a trip to the Super Bowl. That’s why spending as many picks on possible on defense wouldn’t bother me one bit.
