2019 NFL Draft: KC Kingdom First Round Mock Draft
2018 NFL Draft: KC Kingdom Mock Draft
Round 1: Pick 20 – Pittsburgh Steelers (Kole Berrey)
With the departures of Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell in a single offseason, it would make sense for the Steelers to go offense here. Having guys like JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Connor on the roster gave the Steelers options, and when Greedy Williams fell all the way to 20, they just had to pull the trigger.
Thanks to some offseason shenanigans, the Steelers now play in a division with A.J. Green, Jarvis Landry, and Odell Beckham Jr. at the receiver position. Seeing those guys twice a year each is rough. So getting what could be the drafts best corner without giving up anything should make the Steelers front office and fans ecstatic.
Williams provides a little attitude in the Steelers secondary, and could blossom into a shutdown corner. He will be challenged early and often, but he could immediately add a boost to a Steelers unit who was inconsistent in 2018.
Staff Reaction: Incredible value at pick number 20 for Pittsburgh. Absolutely a no-brainer if Williams is indeed still available this late. – Cullen
