2018 NFL Draft: KC Kingdom Mock Draft

Round 1: Pick 15 – Buffalo Bills (Leigh Oleszczak)

16. . Wide Receiver. Ole Miss. D.K. Metcalf. 15. player

The Bills received a third round pick in exchange for giving Washington the ninth overall pick, and Buffalo was fortunate enough to still be able to land D.K. Metcalf with the 15th pick.

Anyone who watched the Bills last season knows all too well that they need help in the passing game. Josh Allen didn’t throw the ball much, but even when he did, he barely had anyone to throw to! Metcalf has shot up the draft boards this spring, mainly due to how freaking jacked he is physically, but the guy will give the Bills a weapon they haven’t had in a long time.

Allen is going to need help in the passing game if he wants to be a mainstay in Buffalo. He wowed a lot of people last year, but mostly all of that was with his legs. If Allen really does have this giant arm that people talked about last year, he needs to show it off.

Metcalf is the perfect pick for the Bills at number 15 overall and can provide them with a superstar at receiver moving forward.

Staff Reaction: LOVE this pick. D.K. Metcalf dazzled and the combine with his speed and strength. Quarterback Josh Allen is still raw, and surrounding him with weapons is a smart move. Picking up extra picks after trading back makes this move that much better. – Kole
