2019 NFL Draft: KC Kingdom First Round Mock Draft
The 2019 NFL Draft is this week and to get everyone amped for the festivities, KC Kingdom conducted a first round mock draft! How will the first round play out?
**THIS MOCK DRAFT WAS CONDUCTED PRIOR TO THE CHIEFS ACQUIRING FRANK CLARK, THEREFORE THE CHIEFS WILL STILL HAVE A PICK IN THE FIRST ROUND**
The 2019 NFL Draft is on Thursday and we here at KC Kingdom can barely contain our excitement! The past two years, we’ve done a staff-wide mock draft and they’ve been so much fun that we decided to do one again this year!
What’s even better is that this time around, the Chiefs actually have a first round pick! Last year, that was not the case. It made for a lame draft season in Kansas City.
How this mock draft works is the four participants were each assigned eight picks in the first round. When their team was on the clock, they simply drafted a player who they felt that team would be interested in selecting. We did include trades in this mock and there are quite a bit of them early on. If a team had multiple picks in the first round, the same GM was assigned to every pick that team had.
