5. Indianapolis Colts, Sunday Oct. 6 7:20 p.m. NBC

The Indianapolis Colts were sort of the NFL’s Cinderella story in 2018. Having climbed out of the depths of NFL Hell all the way to the postseason, they found themselves in Arrowhead back in January and coming up short against the Chiefs, 31-13.

Andrew Luck’s resurgence to stardom was a welcome sight for the league, and the Genius of former Chiefs executive, Chris Ballard, has quickly turned the Colts into one of the youngest and upcoming rosters in the NFL. Partner all this with Justin Houston’s homecoming and you got yourself a marquee match up on Sunday Night Football.

Patrick Mahomes vs. Andrew Luck is a rivalry that the AFC could be looking at for many more years to come. The Colts should be favored to win the AFC South and this early in the season match-up could have serious implications on playoff seeding down the road.

This will also be just the second game at Arrowhead of the season and we all know how turned up that place will be for primetime.
