Kansas Basketball Recruiting: 4 grad transfers who can help Jayhawks
By Joel Wagler
One player who might be a perfect fit would be Jaylen Fisher, late of TCU. Fisher offers a tough-minded playing style Self respects and would have the skill set needed.
It is hard to believe, however, that Self would grab up a player from the Big 12, as that would be a bad precedent to set. Fisher, most likely, will be off limits.
It would not be surprising if the Kansas basketball team will need to fall back and take a grad transfer or two to fill out their roster. The roster is a bit then right now and could get even thinner if things fall the wrong way for them on a couple of other players.
The next year or two shall be interesting for Self and his staff when it comes to recruiting. The shadow of an NCAA investigation is hovering over the program, and that may be scaring off recruits.
Kansas basketball seems to be in a period of transition. Hopefully, Bill Self will be able to continue his winning ways and keep the program at the very top!
