CHIEFS AS AVENGERS – CHRIS JONES AS THE HULK

When looking at the Chiefs defense, there isn’t anyone more terrifying to opposing offenses than Chris Jones. The Chiefs drafted Jones in the second round in 2016 and he’s gone on to be quite the sensation along the defensive line.

The Incredible Hulk is a perfect fit for Jones because simply put – You wouldn’t like him when he’s angry.

The same can be said for Jones, who once angered, can go on a tear and hurt the offense. He had a streak in 2018 where he notched a sack in 11 straight games. While it ended in the season finale victory over the Raiders, going 11 consecutive games with a sack is very impressive, especially in today’s NFL where the offense has it pretty easy most of the time.

Relating to his Avenger counterpart, Bruce Banner is a nice guy when he’s his human self, but as soon as he transforms into The Hulk, all bets are off. He is then the scariest member of the Avengers. Jones is the same way, only instead of human to Hulk, it’s off the field versus on the field.
