CHIEFS AS AVENGERS – MITCHELL SCHWARTZ AS IRON MAN

Some might wonder why I put a right tackle on the list of Avengers, but Mitchell Schwartz deserves to be included. He would be Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the reason is a pretty obvious one.

Schwartz, who has been in the league since 2012, has yet to miss a start.

You read that right.

In seven seasons as an NFL offensive tackle (four with the Browns and three with the Chiefs), Schwartz has started every single game. If that doesn’t make him Iron Man, I don’t know how one becomes Iron Man. It’s even crazier when you consider how taxing the offensive line is and how often injuries pile up in the trenches.

Schwartz might not have the personality that Tony Stark has, but he certainly fits the build for Iron Man and him not missing a start during his seven-year NFL career is proof enough of that.
