CHIEFS AS AVENGERS – DAMIEN WILLIAMS AS ANT-MAN

It was tough thinking of someone who could serve as Ant-Man, but Damien Williams gets that honor. Ant-Man isn’t one of the more well-known Avengers (though both of his movies are hilarious and he’s great in Captain America: Civil War), but it appears he’s going to play an important role in Avengers: Endgame.

The same could be said for Damien Williams, who was initially a third string running back for the Chiefs in 2018. Unfortunate circumstances led to him being propelled into the starting role, where he flourished and received a two-year extension as a result.

Ant-Man’s abilities are that he can shrink with the simple click of a button. He can also grow as tall as 62 feet (as he notes in Ant-Man and the Wasp), which obviously isn’t something Williams can do.

Williams fits the role of Ant-Man because he’s undersized and under appreciated, but is turning into a pivotal character moving forward. He’ll be a major part of this offense in 2019 and beyond.
