Mizzou Football: Ten NFL teams for wide receiver Emanuel Hall

Round 2, Pick 60; Round 3, Pick 91
In 2018, Philip Rivers had a much more efficient time throwing the ball than he did in recent years. Despite throwing for fewer yards than he did in 2017, Rivers’ completion percentage jumped almost six percent, and his 68.3% was the second highest of his career. His touchdowns and yards-per-completion went up while his interceptions went down.
Part of that had to do with a more balanced receiving corps in Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Tyrell Williams. But earlier this offseason, Tyrell bolted for a bigger payday with the Raiders. To keep the passing game strong as Rivers enters his 16th season, the Chargers should seek out Emanuel Hall with either pick No. 60 or pick No. 91.
As Hall may not be around at No. 91, the Chargers could be forced into using the No. 60 pick on a wide receiver. That seems a bit like a stretch for Hall. If the Chargers go with a wide receiver in the second round, it could be someone like Ole Miss’ DaMarkus Lodge or one of two Buckeyes in Terry McLaurin or Parris Campbell.
But if the Chargers wait on a wide receiver, and Hall’s still around at No. 91, that would be too good for Tom Telesco and Anthony Lynn to pass.
