Washington Redskins

Round 3, Picks 76 & 96

Washington has more pressing needs to address earlier in the draft than wide receiver, but it’s still a position that Jay Gruden and Bruce Allen need to modify. Thankfully, Washington has two picks in the third round that they could expend on a young receiver to pair with either new quarterback Case Keenum or a quarterback the team selects in the first round.

Right now, the team’s depth chart at wide receiver looks bleak.

Outside of Josh Doctson and the seemingly perpetually-injured Jordan Reed, the Redskins are slim on established receivers. With Gruden’s job possibly on the line after an underwhelming five years, he needs to get additional targets for whoever ends up being his starting quarterback. Using either third-round selection on Emanuel Hall would be a big step in that direction.
