With the draft combine and the first couple of weeks of free agency in the books, teams are getting a better of idea of what areas they’ll need to address in April’s NFL Draft. One intriguing local prospect is Mizzou football wideout Emanuel Hall.

Last year, due to several nagging injuries, Emanuel Hall, a senior for Mizzou football, only played in eight games. But in those handful of games, he hauled in 37 passes (third on the team) for 828 yards (led the team) and six touchdowns (tied for most on the team). He averaged 22.4 yards per reception, which ranked second in the nation for players with at least 35 receptions.

On three different occasions in 2018, Emanuel Hall had over 150 receiving yards with his best game arguably coming the day after Thanksgiving against the Arkansas Razorbacks. In that 38-0 Mizzou trouncing, Hall grabbed six passes from quarterback Drew Lock for a total of 153 yards and two touchdowns.

After a disappointing end to his collegiate career in a bowl game loss against Oklahoma State in which he caught only two passes for 72 yards, Hall now has his sights set on the NFL. Which teams could be in the mix in selecting the 6’2″, 200-pound product out of Columbia?

To determine that, I first looked at three sites for their respective NFL draft prospect rankings. According to The Draft Network, Hall is the No. 79 overall ranked prospect and No. 13 wide receiver prospect. CBS Sports has him ranked similarly as the No. 78 overall prospect and No. 11 wide receiver. Finally, WalterFootball ranks Hall as their No. 13 wide receiver.

Next, I looked at NFL team needs. Once again, I turned to The Draft Network for that information. According to that site, 22 of the league’s 32 teams have either a primary or secondary need at the wide receiver position, ranging from the team picking first overall, the Arizona Cardinals, to the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.

Based on where each of those 22 teams will be drafting, plus Hall’s prospect ranking and a couple of mock drafts, including one by FanSided’s NFL Mocks found here, I whittled the list down to 10 teams that could take a chance on Emanuel Hall.
