NUMBER 1 – HOW DOES THE OFFENSE LOOK?

Obviously offense is the sexy part of baseball, and all sports honestly. So, it’s only natural that Royals fans will be curious to see how the 2019 offense starts off the year.

On last year’s Opening Day, fans were treated to a four-run first inning, only to see the bats go cold not long after. When looking at the potential guys who could be in the Opening Day lineup, Whit Merrifield, Adalberto Mondesi, and Jorge Soler pop out as the ones who are going to have to be hot with the bats.

It’ll also be interesting to see how aggressive runners are if they get on base. Will Merrifield still bags? If Billy Hamilton is able to get on base, will he put his speed to good use?

It’s only one game, so getting shutout or putting up a few runs isn’t the end of the world, but it would definitely make fans feel better to see an offensive explosion against the hated White Sox. Also, runs are fun!

Score lots of runs, Royals!
