Targets for the Chiefs in the Middle-Late Rounds of the Draft

Josh Oliver, Tight End (San Jose State)

Josh Oliver has risen in value since my first Chiefs draft board and may require a third round selection. Even at this price, he is worth a look. With the departure of Demetrius Harris, the Chiefs could use another good pass catcher to back up Travis Kelce. His size, speed, and ball skills could allow him to be better than Demetrius Harris even as a rookie.

He has the ability to be a solid blocker too, but does need some work in that area. Learning behind Travis Kelce could allow him to develop into an excellent receiving tight end in the future.

Terrill Hanks, Linebacker (New Mexico State)

I have really been crushing on Terrill Hanks since I discovered him. He is a converted safety and could be an excellent coverage linebacker for the Chiefs on passing downs. He still needs some development, especially in the run game, but he has potential to be a very great player.

Hanks could be an immediate help on special teams and develop for a couple of years in hopes of becoming more well-rounded linebacker. If the Chiefs could grab him with their fifth round pick, he would be a great option.
