ROUND 6: PICK 28 (201ST OVERALL)

Remember how I said the Chiefs need pass rushers? Well, it’s true. That’s why in round six, they’re still trying to find options to get after the quarterback, and they might have a diamond in the rough with Malik Carney out of North Carolina.

North Carolina was atrocious this past season, but Carney was one of the few bright spots for the Tar Heels. He had 60 tackles as a senior with 12 of them being for loss. He also had six sacks and forced a whopping five fumbles!

The Chiefs need playmakers on their defense, that much is for sure. They seemingly tore it all down in free agency and that’s why a lot of their draft picks are going to be spent on rebuilding it.

Malik Carney is a player who people might not be talking about, but he could be an absolute steal in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
