Kansas City Chiefs: First 2019 NFL Mock Draft after free agency
The Kansas City Chiefs made some moves in free agency and with that, have a few less needs to address now. What players will they draft in our most recent 2019 NFL Mock Draft?
The start of free agency has come and gone and for the most part, the “tampering period” was more eventful than free agency itself. That tampering period allowed the Kansas City Chiefs to agree to a three-year deal with safety Tyrann Mathieu.
Mathieu being a Chief now means the organization won’t have to spend a draft pick on a safety, at least not early on. While that was an exciting move, the Chiefs saw a lot of guys depart at the start of free agency, including Justin Houston, Eric Berry, and Dee Ford, who was traded to San Francisco.
Mitch Morse and Chris Conley also found opportunities with other teams. Will the Chiefs look to replace any of these guys who are no longer in Kansas City?
As usual, I used Fanspeak’s On the Clock NFL Mock Draft Simulator, which is a fun tool for draft nerds everywhere. For this mock draft, I went with Matt Miller of Bleacher Report’s big board.
So, let’s check out my most recent mock draft!
