SPORTING KC PLAYERS TO WATCH IN 2019 – JAYLIN LINDSEY

Like Busio, Jaylin Lindsey is another Homegrown teenager that should be making somewhat regular appearances this season. Though originally making his debut as a left back, Lindsey is a natural right back that will be a huge help to take the pressure off of Graham Zusi—who started all 34 regular season games at right back last year.

Lindsey is an up-and-coming player who provides a boost of energy on the pitch and shows a huge amount of untapped potential; not to mention, he’s already widely loved by SKC fans and those within the Sporting organization.

The young defender still has wrinkles in his game that need to be ironed out, but he’s just barely considered a legal adult and will get plenty of experience through Sporting, regular appearances with the U.S. Youth National Team, and most likely in the U-20 World Cup this summer.

If a young, energetic spark plug with endless upside is what you want to see, Lindsey is the player to watch this season.
