ROUND 6: PICK 41 (214TH OVERALL)

If the Chiefs insist on getting rid of all of their pass rushers, drafting one to fill the void isn’t a bad idea. They do so late by selecting Maxx Crosby out of Eastern Michigan in the sixth round.

Yes, Crosby benefitted from playing at a smaller school, but don’t get it twisted. The kid can flat-out play and his numbers indicate that for sure. He finished his collegiate career with 162 tackles (41 for loss!) and 20 sacks.

Eleven of those 20 sacks came during the 2017 season and he added another seven and a half to his resumé last year. Nineteen of his 70 tackles last season were for lost yardage.

In other words, Maxx Crosby can make plays on the field. He might not be from one of the Power-5 schools, but he’s a great tackler and if put in the right situation, could be an absolute gem as a rookie.
